The initial idea of the exhibition was to gather works of art that have led their authors to a certain state which could be defined as Point Zero.
Often, to notice certain things, we have to return to Point Zero - a state of epiphany characterised by complete harmony with the reality around and inside oneself and full awareness of this reality; to the moment when the gates to freedom from personal, cultural, archetypal and even spiritual identities, and suddenly everything becomes subtly unstable revealing multiple minor, previously disregarded details of everyday things and the great causations on a global scale.
The participants’ versions on the particular theme broadened the context of the problem and revealed the vast meaning of the concept. As a result, the exposition consisted of 20 authors’ differing interpretations in which Point Zero was represented as a dead end, as an accounting point in the coordinate system of the surrounding world, as an encounter with the Creator, as a stat of unconsciousness and self destruction, as a cycle of time, as the origin of the Big Boom of creative expressions, as a means to look into other worlds and see the future.
