Film in Latvian (with English subtitles)

A touching and extremely fine-grained film about seventeen-year-old Raja and her brother Robis, who live in the countryside with their grandmother Olga, as her father died, and her mother left to look for work in England. Contrary to the will of the children, the grandmother wants to sell the farm property that belonged to their father, but the situation changes after Olga's accidental death…

The film has a vivid depiction of modern Latvia, a wonderful ensemble of actors, visuals and great directing.

The film won the main prize in the "Generation" category of the prestigious Berlin International Film Festival, the Crystal Bear.
