Today, the team of the LCCA visits Muzeum Sztuki in Łódź in order to give a lecture on creative work of Hardijs Ledins and Juris Boiko, two representatives of Latvian avant-garde in the 1980s whose art works now have been showcased in the exhibition “Notes from the Underground. Art and Alternative Music in Eastern Europe 1968-1994”
This exhibition explores the close and often dynamic relationship between visual artists and musicians in Eastern Europe under communist rule.
