The Latvian Centre for Contemporary Art (LCCA) is looking for volunteers who are interested in gaining experience in organising international contemporary art festival Survival Kit 15 (06.09. - 06.10.2024).By joining the team, you will:• Gain a diverse experience and practical skills in organising a large-scale art event;
• Deepen your knowledge of contemporary art and its production;
• Make new contacts, meet international and local art professionals, associates and friends;
• Have the opportunity to be considered for becoming a member of the LCCA’s Art Mediation Programme.
Volunteering at the festival will include:• Assisting artists;
• Preparing for the opening & closing of the festival;
• Helping the exhibition team on-site (i.e., practical assistance in organising the public programme events, and technical aid for running the festival);
• Looking after the exhibition venues.
Apply by 28 July by filling in the application form.! Joining the programme is possible starting from the age of 16.
! It is important that you can devote at least 20 hours of your free time from mid-August to mid-October 2024.
! Volunteering can also be arranged as an internship.
