Project Islands of Kinship: A Collective Manual for Sustainable and Inclusive Art Institutions
(Islands of Kinship: A Collective Manual for Sustainable and Inclusive Art Institutions) has been running since summer 2022.
Within the project we aim to connect and transform the practical activities of seven visual arts institutions in different European regions (Prague, Bratislava, Bitol/Skopje, Cologne, Helsinki, Riga and The Hague) through an innovative collaborative model that addresses societal themes such as inclusion, kinship and community, democratic exchange and ethics.
Within this project, we have contributed to additions to the public programmes of LCCA projects, including the exhibition Decolonial Ecologies, the LCCA Summer School, etc.
Together with partners from a total of seven institutions, we are producing a variety of materials that are useful for developing models of community.
Project is co-funded by the European Union and Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Latvia.
