ACCESSIBILITY
The festival location is easily accessible by car and public transport. Parking is available in the surrounding area of the exhibition venue. The first hour is free, each additional hour costs 1 EUR. Accessible parking is available directly by the festival info center.
The exhibition is spread across several floors of the building and is only partially accessible for people with limited mobility or movement impairments.
The info center is accessible for people with limited mobility or movement impairments. Public program events of the festival will take place in the info center.
The exhibition space “WELL” is located in the Grīziņdārzs courtyard and is not accessible for people with limited mobility or movement impairments. The space is in the basement, and reaching the 6 artworks on display requires going down 10 steps.
The central part of the exhibition, “NEST,” is located in the renovated part of the building and is fully accessible for people with limited mobility or movement impairments.
A lift is available to reach this part of the exhibition.
The rest of the exhibition is located on two floors in the non-renovated part of the building. The spaces “WING 01” and “WING 02” are not accessible for people with limited mobility or movement impairments. Seating is available in the exhibition.
For visitors with visual, hearing, or cognitive impairments:
The exhibition is primarily visual. On request (at the info center or by e-mailing info@lcca.lv), you can receive the exhibition catalog and guide in digital format. Printed festival catalogs are available on-site for reading. We recommend arriving with an assistant or accompanying person, if possible. While the exhibition does not include specific tactile guides, our mediators and volunteers will be happy to assist you.
The venue has accessible restrooms adapted for people with movement impairments.
Visitors are welcome to attend with friendly dogs.
If you have questions about the festival's accessibility or would like to schedule an individual or group visit with a guide (art mediator), please contact Paula Sakne at +371 26352653.
