In cooperation with the Central Finance and Contracting Agency (CFCA), a project is being implemented from the European Union (EU) funds - "Ensuring the activities and strengthening the professional capacity of the "Latvian Centre for Contemporary Art" to mitigate the effects of the crisis".

The aim of the project is to mitigate the effects of the crisis by providing the Latvian Centre for Contemporary Art with the necessary space for its activities and international cooperation measures to develop the professional capacity of the organisation, which would enable the LCCA to provide wider access to cultural services for different groups of society at local and international level, thus creating a positive impact on the local community and promoting the development of the local cultural environment and international visibility.

The project will last five months, from July to November, 2023. The support period - from March to November, 2023. The total cost of the project is EUR 24 913.87, of which EUR 19 835.17 is from the European Regional Development Fund and EUR 5 078.70 from the State budget. The project will provide premises for the activities of the LCCA, as well as five international cooperation activities to develop the professional capacity of the organisation and three visits to Latvia by foreign experts to promote international cooperation and develop the professional capacity of the organisation. The development of new cultural services is directly supported through support for the core activities of the LCCA.
