Text Group Orbita presented a new poetry and sound performance in which the voice reading the poetry drives various electromechanical devices for creating sounds that are then modified with effects processors. The source of the sonic background is the rhythm and intonation of the poem. The majority of the sounds come from a noise engine created by Orbita — a system involving an electric motor, water pumps, laboratory mixers, fans, springs and many other elements — while part of the sonic landscape will be unique and created on the spot during the event, using the sonic potential of the performance venue.
