These are Future visions presented by experts of various areas. A scientist, a producer, a psycho-therapist, a writer, a social anthropologist, etc. speak of their opinions, versions, feelings, ideas, considerations and emotions on the issue of Future viewing it from multiple perspectives and revealing how any individual is able and has the opportunity to affect and change his/her future. Viewers are given a chance to compare their own perception of the world with that of the speakers. At the same time Lesīte’s works, both seriously and playfully, look at the currently so popular slogans: ‘Listen to yourself!’, and ‘Start with yourself!’ (A.L.)
Artist's Bio:
An artist and a journalist. Graduate of the Painting Department of the Art Academy of Latvia. An author of cultural reviews for TV programmes “100gkultūras” (100 grams of Culture) and “Portretu izlase” (“Selected Portraits”). An activist of the movement The Big Cleanup, who is trying to promote and develop the idea of clean and comfortable backyards.
