Two graphics by Oxana Gourinovitch present what their title announces. It is a work about the migration. Namely, about the migration of Blearusian artists. Migration, that is always related to the political or economical situation, underdeveloped art-market and the individual’s personal choices. According to the author these works served the purpose to prove what we already knew about Belorussia. "It seems I had a wish to undermine the deep-rooted stereotypes.”
Artist's Bio:
Born in Belarus, after her architecture studies in Minsk went to Germany where later once again took up studying architecture, currently lives in Berlin and works as an architect.
