Discussion "Brooding Over Activism"

Philosopher Normunds Kozlovs (lecturer at Riga Stradiņš University and Liepaja University) invited all those who were interested and curious, including the latent activists, to join him for an informal discussion about activism today.

An activist - usually a young and vivacious person who spends their time in a company of like-minded people, united by similar world views, style, interests, and eating habits. Usually, an activist is fighting against the established economic or political situation, and is in favour of "something" opposite and alternative. They tend to move around in groups, occasionally organise public campaigns, and often have adverse health habits, which are offset by a healthy diet.
