100 still lives
Animation, 2013
When boredom sets in and it seems that one and the same thing is constantly repeating itself, one should try to purposefully live today exactly like yesterday. One hundred still lifes, each set up, photographed and dismantled 100 times in a row, then attempting to set up the items exactly in the same place again, at the same angle. Stringing the shots into a video, an almost unmoving animation, or an almost moving show of slides, is formed.

Artist's Bio:
I think I think.
At least I used to think so before I had really thought about it. So why did I think so? Or rather – why do I think I thought that I thought, if I know I had not thought about it?
Thoughts often appear and vanish without me thinking them or about them. I don’t even think I can really make them come. I just wait for the next sentence and do not know if it will follow. Follow what?
The thought it is supposed to capture, maybe. So is that thought a thought before it has become a sentence? Is it a thought even before it has entered my mind? As if I were just a pond where mental poachers chase ideal eels to boil a soup of text. Now that I have thought a bit, I think I don’t think.
