The women (at the age of 24-26) target audience’s video research about the qualitative effects of the household chores on the brain activity and body control. The results clearly show that monotone and regular household chores may lead women to meditative state of consciousness or trance.


Artist's Bio:

Ingrīda Pičukāne has participated in different art projects since 1998. She holds the master’s degree of Art Academy of Latvia, Department of Visual Communication as well as Estonian Academy of Arts, Department of Animation. In order to carry out the ideas artist uses different media and forms of art. She practices comics, animation, video, installations and performances. The artist is interested in people and their documentary stories. She investigates the inner regularities of the society and the role of individuals. Artist has participated and led several comics and animation film workshops. She currently works in press, draws comics, and creates research based artwork and blogs about fashion.
