No Show Museum

Exhibition “Art of Nothing” by the project “No Show Museum”, 2015

The “No Show Museum” is the first museum in the world about “Nothing”. In its collection are 120 works of art created by well-known artists of the 20th and 21st century that all address the concept of ‘Nothingness’. It is a mobile museum based inside a postman’s van, displaying 24 invisible works of art and inviting visitors to interactively explore the development of the concept of ‘Nothingness’ within the history of art. During his visit to Riga, project curator Andreas Heusser will address the issues of ‘Nothingness’ in his creative practice and collaborate with the Latvian artist Kaspars Upaciers (participating in the Survival K(n)it 7 exhibition together with the artist collective “Klīga”).
