Based on found language – texts, words and conversations. A portrait of today’s language, which allows scope for interpretation. How can it be that we understand one another? Is it possible to free human thought from the constraints of language? Can language think autonomously?
Artists' Bios:
Reinis Hofmanis (1985) has graduated from the Visual Communication Department of the Art Academy of Latvia. Studied photography in Hannover, Germany. Studies the relationship between reality and enactment, language and image.
Dārta Hofmane (1986) has graduated from the Art Academy of Latvia with an MA in Graphic Art. Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Hamburg. Studies people and speech.
