Latvian Centre for Contemporary Art in collaboration with Kaunas Biennial organised a creative letter writing workshop. It was based on the idea of communicating non-verbal feelings through design elements, by depicting one's inner emotions using graphic techniques. Letters were created using elements of colour, shape and composition, based on the emotions we feel about our city, places and things around us; how we feel about ourselves. The letters were addressed to the visitors of the Kaunas Biennial and sent there after the workshop, while at the same time a letter-writing workshop took place in Kaunas, where the letters were sent to Riga.
