A conversation between artist Ingrīda Pičukāne and art critic Santa Hirša at Raiņa and Aspazijas House.

They discussed Pičukāne's "Survival Kit 12" series of works, her relationship with Felicitas Pauļukas' art, the female body in contemporary art, and other questions related to the professional activities of women artists.

In the afternoon, musician Elizabete Lāce performed.


Ingrīda Pičukāne is a multimedia artist who has participated in various contemporary art festivals with video works and installations, international comic exhibitions, and has created illustrations for children's books, as well as publishing a feminist zine called "Samanta."

Santa Hirša is an art historian and critic who analyzes contemporary visual culture processes and their impact on broader social trends.

Elizabete Lāce is a musician and performance artist who has performed fin numerous classical and pop music groups and is the author of many international festival performances.
